The official launch of Sauder’s design thinking Community of Practice was a resounding success, with more than 80 people coming together to discuss Vancouver’s design thinking community.
Business people, designers, academics and students put their heads together using the design thinking process to come up with ideas for the community’s future.
Don Chisholm of Dossier Creative directed the discussion. He encouraged people not only to ask WHAT design thinking meant to the community, but also WHY it is important. Post-it notes flew, ideas were generated and intelligent discussions were had regarding new d.studio initiative.
